Full Obituary

     PAUL F. RUETH, SR., age 58, of Neillsville, formerly of Loyal, died at the Memorial Medical Center, in Neillsville, on Thursday, April 23, 2015.  Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, in Loyal, with Rev. Steve Brice officiating.  Visitation will be held at the church, on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 4pm to 8pm, and again on Wednesday, from 10am until time of service.
     Paul Frank Rueth was born on January 1, 1957 in Marshfield, WI, the son of Franklin "Fritz" and Agnes (Brzezinski) Rueth.  He was raised on the family farm and received his education in Loyal, graduating from Loyal High School in 1975.  After high school, Paul worked a few years for Al Langfeldt before purchasing a farm southeast of Loyal, near Spokeville.  He was united in marriage to Darla Gardner on July 15, 1978 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, in Loyal.  They later divorced.  He sold the farm in 1988, and then went to work as a heavy equipment operator for Local #139 in Eau Claire.  In 2006, Paul met his lifelong companion, Cindy Gruhlke, and they recently announced their engagement.  He retired in 2013.
     He had many interests, but especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends.  Paul also enjoyed hunting, fishing, shuffleboard, pulling his lawn tractor "Destroyer", driving around looking at wildlife, and racing snowmobiles, stock cars and pulling tractors in his younger years.
     Paul will be deeply missed by 3 children:  Kami (Sean) Young of Auburndale,  Paul Jr. "P.J." (Shannon) Rueth of Chili,  Kai (Kurtis) Jones of Medford;  12 grandchildren: Payton, Gavin, Keegan, Neven, Delilah, Kellan, Gauge, Cameren, Jayda, Kayliannah, Sophie, Jasper;  his fiance: Cindy Gruhlke of Neillsville, and her children: Allen Gruhlke, Jonathon (Laneah) Gruhlke, and their son: Damion, and Brett Gruhlke;  4 brothers:  Larry Rueth of Loyal,  Ronald "Butch" (Sharon) Rueth of Loyal,  Richard "Dick" Rueth of Las Vegas, NV,  Terry (Deb) Rueth of Loyal;  2 sisters:  Kathy Rueth of Spencer,  Vicki (Jack) Kadolph of Loyal;  many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
     He was  preceded in death by his parents;  one sister:  Margie Rueth;  one brother:  John Rueth; and one sister-in-law:  Joyce Rueth.
