Full Obituary

     EARL J. CAMMERS, age 77, of Loyal, died at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital, in Marshfield, on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, surrounded by his family.  Funeral services will be held at 12:30pm on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, in Loyal.  Rev. Steve Brice will officiate and burial will follow in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Allen Moen, Jeff Cammers, Mark Adler, Tom Lyon, Jim Genteman and Stephen Linzmeier.  Visitation will be held at Cuddie Funeral Home, in Greenwood, on Friday, April 24, 2015 from 4pm to 8pm, with a 7pm Knights of Columbus rosary service, and again at the church, on Saturday, from 11:30am until time of service.
     Earl Joseph Cammers was born on October 7, 1937 in Loyal, WI, to Arthur and Marguarite (Leatherdale) Cammers.  He was raised on the family farm, near Spokeville, and received his education in Loyal area, graduating from Loyal High School in 1955.  After completing his education, he went to work for Roddis Manufacturing in Marshfield, which became Weyerhauser, and now Marshfield Doors.  Earl was united in marriage to Darlene D. Moen on October 12, 1957 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Bakersville.  He worked at Weyerhauser for 44 years until retiring in 2000.  Earl resided at home until entering the Marshfield Care Center in 2007.
     He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Our Lady of Fatima Council #4963.
     Earl had many interests, but especially enjoyed Packer football, going to Badger football games and polka music.
     He will be dearly missed by his wife, Darlene, of Marshfield, WI;  2 sons:  Pat (Missy) Cammers of New Richmond, WI,  Bruce (Holly) Cammers of Apex, NC;  2 grandchildren: Heather (Mark) Adler of Marshfield, WI,  Jeff (Melissa) Cammers of Elk Mound, WI;  5 step-grandchildren:  Eron Kuhlers of Raleigh, NC,  Miranda Kuhlers of Cary, NC,  Desiree Gibson,  Tyler Radlinger and Mikayla Radlinger, all of New Richmond, WI; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
     He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mildred Cammers, in infancy.
     Earl's family would like to thank the Marshfield Care Center for their compassionate care during his stay there.
