     MARGARET L. "MARGE" BOGDONOVICH, age 95, of Greenwood, passed away at the Marshfield Medical Center on Monday, October 15, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, in Greenwood. Rev. Leo Stanislaus will officiate, and interment of cremains will take place in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery, in Willard, at a later date. Visitation will be held at the church, on Saturday, from 10am until time of service.
     Margaret Luella Thompson was born on December 19, 1922 in Knoxville, TN, to Edd and Pearl (Lawson) Thompson. As a young girl, her family moved to California where she was raised and received her education. After graduating from high school, Marge worked in a factory building airplanes for the war. She was united in marriage to Peter P. Bogdonovich on September 27, 1942 in San Bernardino, CA. In 1947, they moved to Willard and took over the Bogdonovich family farm for Pete's father. They farmed together in Willard until her husband's death on September 20, 1981. Marge then moved into Greenwood and sold the farm. She resided in Greenwood until the time of her death.
     She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Greenwood American Legion Auxiliary.
Marge had many interests, but especially enjoyed being with her family, playing bingo, going to the casino, going out for morning coffee, traveling and going to Nashville for Fan Fair.
     She will be missed by her two sons: Mike (Patricia) of Milwaukee, and Pete (Pat) of Greenwood; seven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; three brothers: Ron (Jean) Post of Dallas, OR, Wylie (Kathy) Post of Laguna Woods, CA, and Dan (Nancy) Post of Albany, OR; two sisters-in-law: Mona Post of Laguna Woods, CA, and Cheryl Post of Laguna Beach, CA; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
     She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Pete; her son: Richard; her step-father: William Post; one sister: Barbara Underbakke; and three brothers: Lee Thompson, Carl Post and Curt Post.
