Full Obituary

     TIMOTHY J. "JOHN" PACHAN, age 58, of Owen, WI, passed away at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital, in Marshfield, WI, on Saturday, May 13, 2017.  Funeral services will be held at 11am on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenwood, with Rev. Steve Brice officiating.  Pallbearers will be:  Kyle Pachan, Zane Pachan, Luke Schlueter, Riley Stokosa, Eric Poehnelt, Brad Paul, Morris Magnus and David Magnus.  Visitation will be held at the church, on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 5pm to 8pm, and again on Thursday, at the church, from 10am until time of service.  A Celebration of Life will be held at the Blue Mirror, in Greenwood, beginning at 2pm.  Interment will take place in Most Precious Blood Catholic Cemetery, in New London, WI, at a later date.
     Timothy John Pachan was born on October 3, 1958 in Browerville, MN, to John A. and Mary Louise (Oase) Pachan.  The youngest of 6 children, John was raised and received his education near Clarissa, MN, graduating from Clarissa High School in 1976.  He then attended North Dakota State University, where he graduated in 1980 with a Bachelors Degree in Agriculture Economics.  John worked for FmHA in Hillsboro, Cavalier & Langdon, ND.  He met & married Holly R. Magnus on November 30, 1985 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Langdon.  John then worked in liquidation with FDIC in Eagan, MN.  He also worked with Farm Credit in WI before coming to Greenwood and working as a loan officer at Citizen’s State Bank and then at Mid-Wisconsin Bank in Neillsville.  John left the banking industry and went to work at Liberty Homes, in Dorchester, WI, and then to Manpower.  He was currently employed at Wakefield Industries in Withee.
     John had many interests, but especially loved to tinker, attend auctions, gardening, movies & music, was an avid reader, and enjoyed Suduko & making macramé chairs.  When he and his wife got the chance, they enjoyed fishing and traveling.
     John is survived by his loving wife, Holly, of Owen;  his three children: Tara Pachan (Lance),  Kyle Pachan, and Zane Pachan (Jeremy), all of Manawa, WI;  one granddaughter: Autumn Pachan of Manawa, WI;  his 5 sisters -- Linda (Steve) Gjerstad of Eagle Bend, MN, Janie (Michael) Floyd of Cumming, Georgia, Judy Babler of Avon, MN, Donna (Ed) Benning of Avon, MN, Mary Burns of Avon, MN; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
     John is preceded by his parents, and one brother-in-law, Bob Babler.
